What Are Box Sets & Slipcases?
Box sets are designed to house multiple books in a custom-printed, high-quality box. Whether you are creating a series bundle, a special edition collection, or a limited release, box sets add a professional, polished presentation to your books.
A slipcase is a protective sleeve for a single book, designed to enhance its look while providing durability. This is ideal for special editions, high-end releases, or anniversary prints, ensuring your book stands out as a premium product.
Both options are fully customisable, allowing you to match your design, branding, and style preferences.
How to Order
Ordering is simple. Add a box set the same way that you would upload a title to Bookvault through the portal, when you select bundle/boxset you will be able to add your eligible titles to the box set.
Customisation Options
With various customization features, you can create a design that perfectly complements your books.
- Full-Colour Printing – Custom artwork on all sides of the box or slipcase.
- Gloss or Matte Finish – Pick whichever finish suits your titles best, these boxes are made with the same high quality materials as our hardbacks.
- Size Variations – Available in different sizes to fit your book formats.

There is no setup fee for a box set. The price of a box set depends on the size and number of books included.
- Price range: £10 – £15 per box (depending on size, the vast majority of box sets will fall closer to £10, the higher price point will be for boxes which are predominantly landscape or contain a high number of books.)
Yes, we provide templates to ensure your design fits perfectly once you add the box set in the Bookvault portal.
Box sets and slipcases are available for hardback and paperback books that meet the following criteria:
- Maximum height: 280mm
- Maximum width: The total of the book spines plus twice the width of the book must not exceed 580mm
- All books in a box set must be the same size

There is no minimum order quantity for box sets, you can print from a single box set.
No, you must have the books printed with Bookvault as well, as the box is designed to fit the specific paper and production of our books and could be damaged in transit if shipped separately.

Yes, we offer worldwide shipping from the UK.
Box sets can only be sold direct-to-customer via direct sales, via Kickstarter campaigns, or as author copies. cannot be distributed through our retail distribution channels.
